The Yankee Candle Company is an American manufacturer and retailer of scented candles, candleholders, accessories, and dinnerware. Its products are sold by thousands of gift shops nationwide, through catalogs, online, and in nearly 50 countries around the world. 

Yankee Candle was expanding its product range into the whole home use. Our task was to create engagement with a rewards-based loyalty program that would drive value and reduce promotional dependency. Since the home fragrance market is evolving with broader trends, we needed to make Yankee Candle stand out for their loyal consumers to be happier and attract new millennial audience. 

We developed three unique concepts with different key attributes and incentives that we took to test at super clinics. Based on our learning of consumer priorities, loyalty, and subscription programs, we dove into developing a structure and prototype of the platform to bring the programs to life. The result was a new Yankee Candle branded, easy to navigate platform that through iconography and simple language the consumer will understand and subscribe.
